Quentin Schultze on PowerPoint in church, and other things

For some reason the national radio service in Australia (ABC Radio National) made a big deal of the Marshal McLuhan centenary. As part of their McLuhan week they interviewed Quentin Schultze, professor at Calvin College for the show The Spirit of Things [link]. I recommend listening to the whole thing, not least because of Schultze’s suggestion that Protestant churches that adopt multimedia in worship services are becoming “more Catholic.”

The pull quote:

We noticed churches that used PowerPoint were adapting their worship to PowerPoint, not the other way around.

Also, Schultze name-checks Mark Driscoll and some guy named Rob Bell.
