Doug Oldham dead at 79

Former Thomas Road mainstay Doug Oldham died today at University of Virginia hospital, where he had been awaiting surgery.

Oldham served two tours of duty at Thomas Road; one in the early Seventies, when he was at his peak as a gospel singer, and again in the late Eighties, when he returned to the ministry from PTL/Heritage USA as part of the aftermath of the Bakker scandal.
